One more class to teach in the afternoon today and I'll be on vacation!
a very much needed vacation in Thailand..
Going home to finish packing and heading out to spend the night at Sheng's after work.
I'm beyond excited to go and see my parents.
No words can describe how incredibly excited I am.
Anyway, I'll be taking lots of pictures- will post them after.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a very merry New Year, everyone!
I'm looking at a public school in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do. What do you think about the area?

DeleteHi Nugee, my name is Peter. I just finished reading your entire blog from the beginning of your first year in Korea to the end. I just wanted to thank you for posting your experience. I recently just graduated college and I am going through the process of getting my self to South Korea to teach English as well and it was very refreshing reading your experience. I found myself relating to your earlier posts a lot. I am going through the same exact thing right now, especially the roller coaster ride of emotions. Currently I am debating whether or not I should really go through with this and if I have what it takes to move to another country to teach. After reading your posts and getting an idea of the hardships and rewards of going on such an adventure, it has been a great guide for me. What I also found really inspiring is how much strength you obtained on your journey through God. I used to go to church every Sunday but haven't gone in a few years. But seeing how much strength your faith has given you through the hardships you went through has gotten me thinking about going back. Thanks again for posting your experiences and I hope you keep updating your blog often!
ReplyDeleteaw what a sweet message! I really do need to update soon...especially since I will be leaving Korea in a few weeks.
DeleteHi Nugee, great blog by the way:)
DeleteDo you know anything about Songhyun high school in Uijeonbu? Also what's it like living in Uijeongbu...much to do...is it an old city?
hi there...really enjoyed your blog and have a few questions. what recruiter did you use and what church do you attend in seoul? i'm guessing from your response above, though, that you didn't renew your contract. are you glad for your experience? thanks!
